HONOLULU, HI –Kapolei Commons, West Oahu’s premiere shopping destination, continues to grow, announcing today that it is moving forward on construction of its latest phase in which Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE:RGC) will operate a brand new state of the art 12-screen movie theatre complex scheduled to open in Fall 2015. Regal Cinemas Kapolei Commons Stadium 12 will occupy 52,000 square feet featuring all new electric recliner seats for a luxury experience and with a menu to match.
MK Kapolei Commons, LLC is a joint development by The MacNaughton Group, Kobayashi Group and Craig Realty Group. The first phase of the center opened in 2009 featuring Target, Sports Authority, Office Max, Petco and Ross. Kapolei Commons has continued its steady growth, most recently with the addition of Pier 1 Imports followed by TJ Maxx opening in early 2015 along with additional restaurants and retail. Kapolei Commons at full build out will feature over 600,000 square feet of shopping dining and entertainment.
