The 2014 Super Bowl will be held in New Jersey. NFL owners have voted to put the championship game in the $1.6 billion New Meadowlands Stadium that is about to become home to the New York Jets and Giants. The stadium does not have a roof.

A Super Bowl at New Meadowlands Stadium would be the first played in the open air in a cold-weather locale since 1975.
