KAILUA, Hawaii —Carvill Sotheby’s International Realty announces that Vicki Yu, real estate professional, has joined its team. In addition to decades of experience in handling real estate transactions representing buyers, sellers and investors, she is a licensed attorney who speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Yu previously practiced law for 14 years, most recently as Corporate Counsel for Micron, a publicly traded computer company based in Idaho, where she was the attorney responsible for real estate transactions, human resources and contract negotiation matters. A first-generation Chinese whose parents emigrated from Shanghai, Yu holds superior English and negotiating skills and extensive American business experience to combine with her cultural roots.

Yu holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings and a B.A. in Communications Studies (Cum Laude) from UCLA. She resides with her family in Kailua, where she enjoys stand up paddling and staying active in the community. She is a certified Bikram Yoga instructor, Advanced SCUBA diver, and PMA-Certified Pilates instructor. Prior to relocating to Hawaii, Vicki was an accomplished competitive snowboarder, wakeboarder, triathlete and mountain biker.
