Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte Shows off Cookie Baking Skills
Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte, in town for the Hawaii ProBowl, made a special stop at the Ronald McDonald House in Manoa to hang out with the kids there.
The staff reports Forte is a talented chocolate chip cookie baker, and showed off his coloring and arts and crafts skills during the hour he was at the house on Judd Hill.
A spokeswoman for the organization said the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House were "so excited and happy that he was able to meet with them" and get his autograph.
The ProBowl is this Sunday at the Aloha Stadium.
According to the legislature, the Pro Bowl generates about $28 million in visitor spending, $3 million in state tax revenues.
The event has been held in Hawaii since 1979, with the except of 2010.
The game annually attracts 13 million viewers each year. While in town, several of the players donate their time and money to local charities.
