REPORT FROM MAUI COUNTY – E-1 and T-10 responded to Moolu Road (Located between Waiolani street and Kuikahi Street, Wailuku) for a Dog kennel on fire. The kennel 120 sq. ft. in size, was totally destroyed by the fire. 7 adult dogs and 5 puppies died in the fire. Dogs were utilized for both hunting and herding.
Damages were $2,000.00 to the structure and $12,000.00 for the contents, including the dogs.
Per Fire inspector investigation this fire was intentionally set.
