The reason this is unstoppable and has become like a giant snowball rolling down hill (or a 25-foot surf at Sunset), is the political clout (read lobbying) of the Midwest corn farmers, processors and related businesses. If the corn industry can have a fixed demand at a subsidized price, they become a state manufacturer, not a free market farmer. No More Risk.
