HONOLULU – Governor Linda Lingle announced today the State has launched an automated telephone directory system that will make it easier for callers to reach a State or county office.
The centralized system provides callers with options to connect directly to the Governor’s and Lt. Governor’s offices, the Legislature, State departments, the University of Hawai‘i and county offices.

The State telephone directory phone number is 586-2211 on O‘ahu or toll-free on the neighbor islands at 974-4000 ext. 62211#.
Contact information for State and county offices is also listed on the State’s website www.hawaii.gov as well as in the phone book.
The new system began operating today.
