The Hawaiian sailing canoe, the Hōkūleʻa, was docked in Kailua and Waimanalo bays this past week.
Today, the crew will sail into Maunalua Bay, where paddlers from Hui Nalu canoe club and other paddlers and surfers plan to greet them and escort them into Hawaii Kai Marina.

There will be an official ceremony from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Hawai‘i Kai Towne Center Pavilion dock.
The public is welcome to attend.
