Honolulu Crimestoppers Seeks Public's Help in Solving Cold Case

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying human remains that were recovered from Ford Island on October 25, 2005.

The partial remains were analyzed and found to be a Caucasian male with a predicted age of 45 years old, 5’8” to 6’0”. The male had an injured knee and may have walked with a limp.

Evidence showed that the male died on land before he was immersed in water several days later.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.

Free cellular calls are provided by AT&T, Nextel Hawaii, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless Hawaii, Mobi PCS, and Hawaiian Telcom.

The public may now send anonymous text and web tips. Text “CS808” plus your message to 274637 or CRIMES.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.

Do not approach any suspect. All suspects and wanted fugitives should be considered armed and dangerous.
