“We’ve begun to see retail prices eroding at a much faster rate in the last few days across a good portion of the country,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. “48 out of 50 states saw average prices decline in the last week, with some of the largest declines in the Midwest, where more and more stations are slipping under the $3/gallon barrier. Motorists should be seeing continued drops in gas prices across much of the United States in the week ahead as gas prices catch up to the recent decrease in crude oil prices.”
