Students between the ages of 14 and 20 who have an interest in aviation are encouraged to attend with their parents. Applications will only be accepted at Orientation and only 15 students will be invited to join the program.

The 10-week program gives students a hands-on preview of working in the airline industry. Each weekly session focuses on an airline-related career including pilots, flight attendants, aircraft mechanics, and airport operations.

Island Air holds Explorer post # 2437, previously held by Aloha Airlines, and managed by the Boy Scouts of America and its Learning For Life organization.

More information and a downloadable application can be found at https://www.islandair.com/explorers.

We look forward to meeting the future of interisland aviation at Orientation Night.
