HONOLULU, HAWAII – On Tuesday, April 19, McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii will be offering up to 1,000 jobs locally as part of McDonald’s National Hiring Day. This one-day event is part of a nationwide initiative for McDonald’s and its franchisees to hire up to 50,000 new employees at restaurants across the country.

These jobs include a combination of part-time, full-time and managerial positions. Those interested in joining the McDonald’s team, gaining valuable work experience and career opportunities, may apply at any Hawaii McDonald’s restaurant or online at McHawaii.net. Hiring is a year-round effort, so those interested in pursuing a career at McDonald’s after April 19 can continue to use these resources to apply.

“Our business is strong and our customers are responding positively to the variety of choices on our menu and the value and convenience we provide,” said Veronica Kaneko, president and managing director of McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii. “As our business continues to grow, we want to provide our customers with an even better experience in all of our local restaurants. And every employee plays a vital role in helping us meet that goal.”
