Young Frankenstein

HONOLULU, HAWAII — It’s STILL Alive!  Manoa Valley Theatre has added 5 more performances of the award-winning Young Frankenstein. Originally scheduled to run September 6 – 23, the side-splitting musical has already extended once and will now play though Sunday, October 7.  Called “A comic triumph,” by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, this show is not to be missed!

This Broadway hit follows the story of bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring a corpse to life. Together with his oddly shaped and endearing helper Igor, his curvaceous lab assistant Inga, and inspite of his incredibly self-involved madcap fiancé Elizabeth, Frankensteinsucceeds in creating a monster — but not without scary and quite often hilarious complications.

Join Frederick Frankenstein, Igor, Frau Blucher, Inga, Elizabeth, the Hermit, Inspector Kemp, the monster and other denizens of Transylvania for this scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment from the 2009 Broadway season.  A Hawaii premiere!
