The July 12, 2007 edition of ”’The Honolulu Advertiser”’ reported on investigative reports by Hilton Lui. The representations by Mr. Lui are misleading. His investigation did not include any discussion with key personnel in the office, specifically the Land Court Branch Chief, Administrative Services Assistant, or the Assistant Registrars who were formally involved with the recording process, and one who was the former Supervisor in the Land Court Receiving Section. Neither Title Guaranty nor the employee was contacted and review of the analysis of the computer security system not made.
It is incorrect to portray access to the bureau
