Despite the cancellation of the tsunami warning, the Oahu Civil Defense Agency has issued a precautionary coastal advisory on the North and West Shores of Oahu because of high surf and a high tide expected overnight.
Persons along shoreline areas and beaches of the Leeward Coast and the North Shore are advised to exercise extreme caution and be prepared to evacuate immediately if the ocean rises.
