Pacific Islands Climate Change Virtual Library Resource Now Available

    A new Web-based public library of climate information specific to the Pacific Islands is now available from NOAA and Pacific Island partners. The Pacific Islands Climate Change Virtual Library is an interactive site that was created to help Pacific Island coastal managers and their communities plan for climate change. The library includes resources on how to assess vulnerability adapt to climate change and map and model climate impacts in the Pacific region. The forum allows users to share information on conferences and workshops funding opportunities lessons learned and participate in a virtual discussion. The library is now available online at https://pigcos.soest.hawaii.edu/piccp/joomla. The site was developed by NOAA in cooperation with the National Oceanographic Data Center Pacific Climate Information System coastal managers in American Samoa and Samoa University of Hawaii School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology and other partners in the Pacific Islands.
