  1. UH athletics department is possibly considering eliminating some sports due to revenue shortages, such as football, whereby season ticket sales are down. Here are a couple of things to consider 1. Hawaii fans are no fools, they will not pay for a losing football season like the past 2 years, they would rather pay for a single game at a time, once they see how the team is. 2. The sports department is a couple million short, so why not divert some of the 350 million dollars to non-academic programs and have the over-paid members of the UH administration take a pay cut. Don't jeopardize the few sports venues the people have on the island.
