ROVE SWIMWEAR Launches First Swim Collection

KAILUA, HAWAII – Hawaii-based luxury swimwear line, ROVE SWIMWEAR (Rove) launched its first collection, Reve Bohemia on January 1.

Founded by local Hawaii designer, Alicia Van Bokhoven, Rove is a lifestyle brand inspired by spontaneity, wanderlust and freedom. The designer swim line is crafted in Bali, Indonesia featuring custom linings and fabric, hand crochet and macrame (a form of textile-making using knotting rather than weaving) detail. The Reve Bohemia collection offers comfortable, feminine one and two-piece bikini styles in four colors and one print.

“In Hawaii, a bikini is a staple piece of a girl’s wardrobe often being the first thing they put on to start the day,” said Van Bokhoven. “I have always been a bikini addict and dreamed of having my own line. With Rove I can finally provide chic, comfortable swimsuits that mirror my lifestyle and travels worldwide.”

Rove is available for purchase at The Bikini Room, Kauai; Kahala, San Antonio, Texas and online at San Lorenzo in Ala Moana Center and Kahului, Maui will start carrying the line in April.

Rove will hold its first trunk show on January 18 at Fighting Eel in Kailua, Oahu, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, visit:
