Allegiant Air announced plans for a major new destination Friday, saying it would acquire six used Boeing 757-200 jets that it plans to fly to Hawaii. The Honolulu Advertiser says the “move that will make the Islands more accessible to visitors from smaller cities in the western U.S.”
