REECE LODDER — In a flash of blue and yellow, the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, roared onto the Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay flight line on Marine Corps Base Hawaii Sept. 21. The squadron, comprised of eight F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets and “Fat Albert Airlines,” their C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, is slated to perform during the Kaneohe Bay Airshow here Sept. 25 to 26. Their last appearance at the airshow was in 2007.
