‘OLELO to Cablecast Live and Stream Jan. 2 Mayoral and City Council Inauguration

Kirk Caldwell will be sworn in as Honolulu's next mayor on January 2, 2013

REPORT FROM OLELO – ‘Olelo Community Media will cablecast the historic joint inauguration of incoming Mayor Kirk Caldwell and newly elected Honolulu City Councilmembers Ikaika Anderson, Ann Kobayashi, Ron Menor, Kymberly Pine and Joey Manahan on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The one-hour ceremony will air live on ‘Olelo Channel O‘AHU 55 starting at 10 a.m.

The joint inauguration, a first for a Honolulu mayor and the City Council, will take place in the Mission Memorial Auditorium.

The program will also be streamed live at www.olelo.org.

‘Olelo is committed to airing programs of special community interest, whether live or taped, on its four channels (FOCUS 49, O‘AHU 55, NATV 53 and VIEWS 54)

On-demand viewing of these programs and all other ‘Olelo programming will be available through ‘Olelonet, the online archive at www.olelo.org.
