Guys with Issues Comedy Showcase

This is a stand-up comedy show titled ‘The Guys With Issues COMEDY SHOWCASE starring Shawn Felipe”, which will star one of Hawaii’s funniest stand-up comedians, Shawn Felipe.  Felipe’s stand-up comedy acts have been featured all over Hawaii as well as nationally and on various networks, including Worldasia TV, AZN TV, IA TV, The Filipino Channel, Sprint Comedy-Time Network, and National Lampoon Comedy Radio.

Felipe’s performances have earned him nominations for several prestigious awards, including “Best New Artist” at 2009 Hawaii Music Awards, “Best Take-Out Comic in Hawaii”, and “Top 7th Comic at the 36th Annual International Comedy Competition” in 2011 in San Francisco.  Based on demand, Shawn’s live stand-up performances continue to extend worldwide from the U.S to Singapore, Canada, Japan, and the Middle East, as well as to universities nationwide.  Most recently, Shawn and a team from Hawaii, ‘ALOHA PLATE’, cast in Season 4 of The Food Network’s No.2-ranked reality show, “The Great Food Truck Race”.  The ‘ALOHA PLATE’ food truck ended up winning the Season Four Competition.

James Mane, of the ‘Guys With Issues Comedy Podcast’, who also hosts a weekly comedy show called ‘Mars Comedy Club’ at Hawaiian Brain’s EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT will be the host for this event.  Also, in the show will be local stand-up comedians Elroy, Paul Kane, Klinton Imai, and the current Mars Comedy Club #ComedyFighters champion, Nick Makosky.  Go to MarsComedy.com for more information.
