BY KIRK CALDWELLI’m very honored to receive the endorsement of IBEW Local 1260, a diverse union that represents over 3,000 local workers. We share a commitment to make life better for Honolulu’s working families.
To do that, I believe Honolulu needs a mayor that manages the city instead of running it on auto-pilot, a mayor that understands all the important issues and a mayor that offers people real solutions instead of just complaints.
I’m excited to continue working with IBEW Local 1260 and our growing team of volunteers to help move Honolulu forward.
Kirk Caldwell is a former state Representative and former managing director for the City & County of Honolulu. He is a candidate for Honolulu mayor in 2012.

  1. With Caldwell, the electricians will be taking off work to drive their parents around, no work for a different reason. Have to bring in workers from the mainland. Faster to pump up the bus and handivan system boyz and girlz.

  2. Am thinking that the good candidate may need to proof-read what he writes before going to press. Certainly he meant working FOR IBEW Local 1260 and not WITH!

Dear Kirk, Here’s the “good news, bad news” about your mayoral campaign: The good news” is the IBEW endorsement. The bad news is you and Carlisle are both going elephant hunting with a BB guns.
