Ocean Safety officials are advising no swimming at all North Shore beaches due to hazardous ocean conditions, including high surf, strong shore breaks and dangerous currents.
A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for all north and west-facing shores of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau. The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that a large northwest swell is expected to keep surf above advisory levels through Tuesday.
The advisory may be extended or modified as conditions develop.
