For the eighth year, L&L Drive-Inn®/L&L Hawaiian Barbecue® brings back its annual 76-cent plate lunch celebration on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at its Keeaumoku Street (in Walmart), Honolulu location only.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, supporting their mission – to help people with employment barriers to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient.  Goodwill has provided job training and job placement services in Hawaii since 1959.

Pepsi fountain drinks will also be offered at 10-cents each. The first ten customers in line will receive a month’s supply of Pepsi drinks and the first 100 customers will receive a free L&L t-shirt. Also, L&L and 76 Hawaii will be giving away free discount gas cards during the event.

Last year’s celebration included more than 1,500 participants.  People started lining up as early as 12:00 am for the low-priced plate lunch deal.

L&L offers selected plate lunches for 76-cents to commemorate the opening of the first L&L Drive-Inn in the year 1976.  L&L has chosen Goodwill Industries of Hawaii as the event recipient since the beginning, because of their valuable services they provide to the community.
